& Detox
The purpose of
a Cleansing Program:
All of us live with environmental stresses. These come
in the form of:
- air
pollution
- chemicals at
work
- chemical
fertilizers & pesticides
- chemicals in
food
- alcoholic
beverages
- caffeinated
beverages
- prescription
drugs
- over-the-counter
drugs
- automobile
fumes
- smoking
The purpose of
a cleansing program is to:
- Help your
body get a little rest from what it has to do all
the other days of the year
- Clean out
your digestive and elimination tracts (bowels,
colon, large intestine, liver, gall bladder,
appendix, etc.)
- Make you
feel good!
Historically,
cleansing programs have been undertaken at the changing
of the seasons, to better align your body with the
rhythm of the Earth and to start the new season on the
right track. Today we are close to the Autumnal Equinox,
the beginning of Fall, and the perfect time to start a
cleanse. There are several parts of a cleansing program
and many different approaches. The point of view we are
taking, is to use a program that allows us to continue
to lead our daily lives, while making some changes.
These changes are able to be accomplished with some
effort. There are things I would recommend you didn't
eat or drink. There are new things I would like you to
eat and drink. There are tools you can use to make the
cleanse more effective. |
